Art, play and urban development

Time and culture can contribute to the development of urban areas. Play and art can generate energy, engagement and involvement. Contemporary artistic interventions can supply the urban development practice with new ideas.

By hosting the conference entitled "Contemporary art, play and temporality - as tools for urban development" landscape architect Bettina Lamm from Forest & Landscape, Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen and Charlotte Bagger Brandt from RÅDERUM are crossing new bridges between art and urban development.

According to the hosts the conference has an interdisciplinary approach. The intention is to cross boarders and mobilize new connections between planners, landscape architects and curators in the field of urban space and urban development.

Among the invitede guestspeakers are Raumlabor (DE), Rebar (USA), The City Architect of Copenhagen Tina Saaby, KØS - Museum of Art in Public Places, Køge Kyst, Givrum, Creative Actions and Urban Play.
